The RKC Dojo Observatory officially opened its doors for Kendo training as from Tuesday, 5 October 2021.
Members of the RKC Dojo who practise Jodo and Iaido gave a demonstration of their respective discipline's kata.
Thereafter, the Kendo training session with members of the RKC Dojo and a few new prospective students took place.
Special guests who attended the RKC DOJO OBS opening were:
1. Buster SEFOR sensei (Kendo renshi, 7th dan; Iaido 4th Dan; Jodo 1st Dan; ex-SAKF president)
2. Michael GRICE (Kendo 4th Dan; current SAKF president).

The RKC DOJO (RKC) train the traditional Japanese martial arts of Kendo and Iaido (sword-based martial arts), as well as Jodo(the art of the short staff/stick), that encourages the cultivation of the human character.
The RKC DOJO have 2 dojo's in Johannesburg where in-dojo traning takes place, Rivonia and Observatory. Online training is also available.
