The Kanji "侍"" stands for "Samurai" and means, "those who serve".
The RKC Dojo and its members has been approached numerous times in the past to assist organisations, groups of people and individuals in a "unique" way.
The most common requests have been that to conduct a demonstration of the martial arts we practise, namely that of kendo, iaido and jodo.
However, we have also had requests to host speciality workshops, team-building events, client activations, photo and video opportunities, back ground extras for movies, music video, retail marketing, promotions, and much, much more.
Regardless of the request, we have always been able to deliver the request successfully
We do charge a reasonable fee for our services. The fee will depend on the organisation requesting, as well as the level of engagement involved. In some cases, we would be willing offer our services pro-bono, if we feel it will be beneficial to our dojo in ways other than financial.
All engagements can be adapted according to the clients' needs, however, it must still maintain a level of authenticity and dignity. Any engagement we do MUST NOT bring our art, members, dojo, and/or affiliated organisations into disrepute.
Please feel free to discuss this in greater detail with us either via the form below, sending us an email (info@rkcdojo.com), or by contacting 082 389 9098.
Below is a list of some of the engagements we have done in the past. This list will be periodically updated to reflect the latest event that we have been of service to:
