The 2022 Start Dates and Training Schedule

Training at the RKC Dojo will begin early in 2022.

The start dates for the various disciplines are as follows:

• Saturday, 08 January 2022: 1st In-Dojo Kendo Training Session of 2022 at RIVONIA DOJO (Hatsu-Geiko) @ 8am - 10am

• Saturday, 08 January 2022: In-dojo Iaido & Jodo Training Session at RIVONIA DOJO @ 10am - 11am

• Monday, 10 January 2022 - 1st Online Jodo Training session @ 7pm

• Tuesday, 11 January 2022 - 1st Online Iaido Training session @ 5pm

• Tuesday, 11 January 2022 - 1st In-dojo Kendo Training Session of 2022 at OBSERVATORY DOJO @ 7pm

• Tuesday, 11 January 2022 - 1st Kendo Kids Session of 2022 @ RIVONIA DOJO

• Thursday, 13 January 2022 - 1st Official In-Dojo Iaido & Jodo Session of 2022 at RIVONIA DOJO @ 6pm

• Saturday, 15 January 2022 - Kendo Kids Join in Adult class @Dojo

The Ryū Ken Chi Dojo (RKC Dojo) train the traditional Japanese martial arts of Kendo and Iaido (sword-based martial arts), as well as Jodo(the art of the short staff/stick), that encourages the cultivation of the human character.

The RKC DOJO has 2 venues in Johannesburg where in-dojo training takes place - Rivonia and Observatory. Online training is also available.
